Dematerialization of freight transit on Tanger Med Services Portal

Tanger Med pursues improvements related to the facilitation through dematerialization and automation of procedures. Freight companies can now complete administrative tasks related to the port crossing at Tanger Med through the online declaration and electronic filing of documents for the port authority. In addition to the wider dematerialization of customs declarations, these companies will benefit from a simplification of their procedures and a high level of security for their goods flows: 

Document dematerialization with the electronic signature of the documents (Document integration directly into the portal and simplified declaration through the automated loading of the data of the summary declaration of goods with the Customs). This system will reduce and maximize the reliability of administrative procedures relating to the transit of goods. 

Possibility to benefit from the remote taxation service (online via the Tanger Med Portal) with online access to bills. The dematerialization of foreign trade procedures engaged by Tanger Med makes it possible to improve the competitiveness of Moroccan exports through the port complex. 

Tanger Med is the first Moroccan platform of the import/ export flows with a global value processed in 2018 amounts to 317 billions Dirhams.
