Launch of the final phase of the digitization initiative of the purchasing process

As part of its digital strategy for the digitization of its business processes, Tanger Med has undertaken a comprehensive approach for the online launch of the purchasing platform of the entire group. In fact, in 2020, the I-Supplier module of the EBS Suite, designed to support and assist suppliers in their listing and registration in the group's supplier panel, has been implemented, followed by the launch of the I-Procurement module intended to the various internal participants in the purchasing process, offering them interfaces for exchanges with the other submodules, in particular the Service-Procurement module, and lastly the Sourcing module, allowing the digitization of the procurement process from end to end.

The https://portailachats.tangermed.ma platform allows both national and international suppliers to interact with all stakeholders involved in the process and to deploy all stages of online collaboration from referencing to invoice payment.

This complete and secure platform allows suppliers wanting to participate in the Group’s restricted consultations and Open Tenders to carry out the following tasks online:

1.Online referencing in one or more activity sectors offered by the Group
2. Online bidding in consultations and Calls for Tender launched by the Group
3. Follow-up of the execution and reception of orders (POsand Contracts)
4. Editing of attachments and accounts
5. Electronic filing of invoices
6. Online tracking of payments and payment deadlines

With Tanger Med purchasing platform, listed suppliers can now submit their quotes and manage their orders online. They also have the opportunity to submit their possible grievances and claims.

The solution implemented by Tanger Med aims to accelerate processing times and ensure better relationship management with its suppliers.
